The FiReP^® FRP SPANFLEX System contents complex 3-D-reinforcement members as cages, helixes and others structures for application in slabs, beams and columns. Especially the use of FRP lattice girders as tunnel support is a unique technique.

Made of FiReP^® 2-D-structures as hooks and diverse stirrups, rings, spacers and other parts will be pre-assembled to above mentioned members in the production plant or in a bending company or partly on site for installation in form works as non-metallic reinforcement. Combination und jointing to steel or FiReP^® FRP-reinforcement is possible.

For a lot of special applications FiReP^® FRP-reinforcement will become established in RC structures of higher demand for the use in thin concrete plates with small concrete cover as facades, in floorplates on air fields (swing places), in concrete railroad sleepers, harbour and waterway constructions e.g. watergates & sluices), coastal protection, nuclear power plants, road and bridge and tunnel constructions, water adits, caverns and shelters, hospitals, excavations (Soft Eyes), energy research facilities, deep foundations, seismic protection and others.
