The FiReP® TIELOCK FRP rebar was especially developed for application in form work. Its high corrosion resistance, high strength, cuttability and other features offer lots of benefits for all form work tie application.
FiReP® TIELOCK FRP rebars are compatible with standard steel bars and can be applied with all related standard accessories.
After use FRP-form work ties remain in concrete as one-way rebars. Costs for re-assembling, transport and storage are saved. Special parts like jointing cone, cladding tube, water stops are not necessary. Its corrosion resistance avoid “rusty bleedings” on surfaces of fairfaced concrete. Also other optical adverse effects are strongly reduced or eliminated.
The FiReP® TIELOCK FRP form ties are colored according to concrete color or painting in light- to medium-grey or on individual requirement.
Optimized bonding behaviour, light weight, flexibility, durability and easy handling are the main advantages.
